Last week, BRVFC Duty Crew conducted a mass decon training. The crew setup two trucks side by side with a fog nozzle on each one facing each other. They also placed a ladder with a fog nozzle across the top of both trucks. By doing this we create a wall of water that vehicles would drive thru (similar to a car wash) and have potential hazardous materials rinsed off of the vehicle.
In the event of a mass decontamination incident, this method of product removal could be necessary if many vehicles are exposed to a hazardous substance and need to decontaminated.
